HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) is the primary analytical method for quantifying cannabinoids in CBD products. It determines the concentration of individual cannabinoids with the highest accuracy.
Compared with methods such as gas chromatography, HPLC has the advantage that the sample is not heated. The cannabinoids are therefore measured in their natural form, without being altered by heat.
