VAT identification number
EU-wide tax number for intra-Community B2B trade.
The VAT identification number is a unique identifier for companies in the EU single market. It makes tax-free intra-Community movement of goods between businesses possible, under the reverse charge procedure.
For B2B CBD retailers the VAT ID is essential: on deliveries between EU countries, VAT does not apply if both parties can show a valid number. On large orders this saves a considerable amount.
